Production Manager, Casting Director, Writer and Production Coordinator

I have considerable industry experience, which includes managing a well-known TV commercial production company and working for a highly respected talent management agency, in addition to classroom studies. 

As production manager at Meltzer Media Productions I was in charge of all aspects of Direct Response (DRTV) and infomercial production, from budget proposals and scripting to shoot preparations and final edits.  I supervised an in-house crew of directors, editors, graphic designers, assistants and interns, as well as made sure jobs were completed and sent to clients in a timely and orderly fashion.  I hired freelance personnel and vendors such as makeup artists, location scouts, sound engineers, and camera crews.  My producer relied on me to liaise with clients as we determined our creative and financial approach to creating both long and short form commercials.  I also wrote scripts and managed all casting aspects by holding auditions and booking talent for national TV campaigns. 

At Brookside Artist Management, my organization along with my multi-tasking abilities and enthusiasm enabled me to adapt well to the pressures of working in a fast paced talent management environment with an extremely high call volume.  I gained an extensive amount of knowledge and communication skills through my interactions with high profiled actors, agents, publicists, lawyers, casting directors and producers.  Every day I was involved with the development, production, and post-production aspects of TV, theater, and filmmaking.  Staying focused, detailed and on point was imperative when preparing and managing busy itineraries for celebrity clients and the president of the company, Emmy-winning producer Emily Gerson Saines.  My diligence quickly paid off when I was put in charge of the commercial department, office logistics, publicity and the internship program.

Moreover, I am a well-rounded applicant because of my experience in a variety of professional work settings and internships.  As a visitor services assistant at Old Westbury Gardens (OWG) and the lead teacher in a classroom of 4th – 6th grade children at New Discovery Early Childhood Center, I gained the skills necessary to work with people of all ages, and I take pride in my ability to exude a great balance of sociability and professionalism in all my business relationships.  I am also proficient and comfortable working with both Macintosh and PC platforms.
